Sadly only 2 anglers left the clubhouse Saturday 2nd July. They headed down to Deal hoping to miss the weed that is terrorising Herne Bay at the moment. The weather was sunny with a little bit of cloud. It was slow going til the last hour when Chris Heffer hooked himself a Bass of 1lb 12oz , this was just over the size limit to give him the victory.
Next comp is the Claire V Weniger Sunday 10th July 7.30am til 12.30pm
Next beach comp is the Jubilee 2nd round Sunday 16th October.
