Sunday 1st May Lawler Pairs boat competition

 The Lawler Pairs boat competition on Sunday 1st May will now be fished 11.30am til 4.30pm. We can make this comp back to 5hrs as the harbour has been dredged. Signing in at the clubhouse 10.15-10.30am.

Please remember that the overall single winner of the competition wins a voucher for next year's membership.

 This was fished mostly in the sunshine with the odd cloud spoiling the fun. We had 10 fished, this included 1 junior in his first competition.

 The Tamkin Cup was fished with 5 members,  sadly only 2 weighed in.

 First competition of the year is normal a quiet one,  we had 10 anglers leave the clubhouse,  on their return 8 had fish to weigh in.

Normally we have plenty of whiting but this year not 1 was caught. The buckets were full of dogfish this year with just 2 Dabs and 2 Red Gurnards.

The next competition is the Beach festival Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th November. 

Sunday 6th June , Iris Trophy, Boat comp

 This Sunday is the Iris Trophy, boat competition.  As we are having to change our times due to the harbour not being dredged. So comp is 9am til 1pm. Signing in is 7.45-8am at the clubhouse.
