There was quite a contrast of conditions across the two days with the Saturday bearing flat calm clear seas and the Sunday coloured water with a blustery NE wind. The latter definitely produced better fishing for the 14 anglers who took part with decent numbers of whiting and dogfish showing along the west beaches and at Studd Hill.
Despite the fishing being slower on the Saturday, all but one of the anglers taking part weighed in with the highlight being a bass of 2.28lbs for George Mummery caught from right outside the clubhouse.
