Horrendous gale-esque NW winds and heavy rain greeted the 10 anglers who took part in the Tamkin Cup beach competition on Sunday 29th March.
The weather made fishing difficult on the most part compounded by the distinct lack of sizeable fish. The event was won with just 6 fish comprising barely large enough whiting and a rockling. Four anglers failed to even weigh in a catch while those who did took only small whiting, dabs and rockling.
