Difficult NE winds greeted the 11 anglers taking to the shores for the Maureen Cup on Sunday 18th November.
The fish didn’t seem to mind too much though as all weighed in reasonable numbers of whiting and dogfish, the heaviest of the latter falling to T. Morris at 1lbs 12.4oz.
D. Smith brought back the only flatfish of the event with a nice flounder of 14oz from Studd Hill but it was K. Morris who took top honours, fishing the west beach with a total weight of 15lbs 11oz.
