First round of the Jubilee Cup - Results

The 2015 campaign got underway on Saturday 31st January with the first beach competition of the year, the first round of the Jubilee Cup. 

13 anglers headed out in less than favourable conditions with very strong NW winds as well as rain and snow to boot.
The event was all in darkness, fishing the flood tide up to high between 6pm-10pm. 


Competitors spread out from the West beaches right up to cold harbour sluice. 


In the end though, it was G.S.A.C member P. Harnett who had the only reasonable catch with a codling of 2lbs 0.2oz. 


Three other members weighed in rockling with T. Morris and B. Morris coming joint second after a stewards enquiry!!
D. Smith also weighed in.
