Saturday saw reasonable weather conditions with a moderate NW breeze and plenty of whiting on show along with a couple of dogfish and a single dab.
S. Stephenson found the better numbers from the harbour arm and over the 4hrs bagged up just over 16lbs whilst his nearest competitor, A. Wood, came in second with 11lbs 11oz from Hampton Jetty.
Sunday came and the NW wind was ferocious, making fishing very difficult indeed.
I. Morris found the best spot of the day, netting 8lbs 0.6oz from Studd Hill, including a flounder with his catch. The only other species landed was a rockling for D. Smith from Hampton.
