Saturday 29th September saw 8 Herons take to the boats for the coveted Evans trophy.
All headed for the Weir bank area in ideal conditions and it was quickly apparent the whiting hoards are on their way back.
Along with dogfish and dabs, T. Morris landed the most for the title. The talking point of the event however was a rare catch for D. Neiles with a red mullet. Dave also had the heavy fish pool with a dogfish of 1lbs 13.8oz.
