There was a light easterly wind for most of the evening with patchy rain but this didn't seem to put off the fish.
There were some lovely smooth hounds caught as well as skate, a bass, dogfish, eels and whiting, the pick of the bunch being a hound of 12.20lbs by M. Pritchard who also had another just shy of the 10lb mark.
G. Mummery had a bass of 3.68lbs which is eligible for the Derek Line Bass Trophy, an award given to the biggest boat caught bass landed in competition between the spring and autumn festivals.
