With rain, drizzle and an easterly wind it's no surprise only 6 anglers entered the over the low beach competition. Three weighed in catches of dogfish and eels with hungry crabs and weed being problematic for all.
Results as follows:
1st- D. Smith, 2 fish, 2.46lb
2nd- M. Morris, 2 fish, 2.10lb
3rd- K. Grove, 1fish, 0.80lb
M. Morris had the heaviest fish with an eel of 1.48lb
Next comp is the Iris trophy (boat) on June 10th
